The materials I use to create my products never fail to make my designs look elegant and attractive. Borosilicate glass, also known as Pyrex, is melted at over 2500 degrees F, then annealed for 12 hours to give it incredible strength. The marble shown demonstrates the translucence of vaporized gold and silver caught in the glass. Gold nanoparticles show the red/orange spectrum. Light silver fuming will give the blue spectrum, and where they meet is greenish. The small bubbles are intentional air entrapments. The dark backing provides a contrast to see the art, or it would look almost invisible from the side.
